I've been oggling some of the work done on DA made in Painter 7. I don't know why but I wanted to see if I could do something realistic-ish so I said meh, why not? I took a photo of me and Fred and sketched and painted this right on the computer. It took a LOT of work, 3 hours worth each but I am quite happy with it! I think it looks like me and him! It's done mainly in Painter 7 with a few softening effects done in Photoshop. It was a challenge to have such subtle shadows in the piece, but having the photo reference helped a LOT. the biggest challenge was the nose. Auuugh lousy noses.. A good test for me tho, I'm happy to see I don't SUCK at realism.
